There are several sites that are accepting pre-orders for Civ3. If you can get Chips&Bits or someone else to run pre-orders through Apolyton, I'd much rather help out the site with ad revenue. I'm going to pre-order the game, I'd just like to help you guys out.

I know Amazon.com has an associates program. I think you get like 10% of the sales through a link on your site. I am definitely considering purchasing the SE preordered with overnight delivery.
I agree with MBloom that I would love doing this and helping ACS where I have spent a year and a half talking about the game.About 24,000 people die every day from hunger or hunger-related causes. With a simple click daily at the Hunger Site you can provide food for those who need it.

To be clear, those 3 links above are clicks throughs from this site that will allow us to support Apoyton, are they not? If so do they generate the same revenue on 1 order of 12 as on 12 orders of 1?Gaius Mucius Scaevola Sinistra

To Mark or Dan
Hey, why doesn't Apolyton try to organize a group buying scheme to save us all some money. A few sites have these aggregate buying cycles where you commit to buying the item for the specified price, and as more people sign up the price starts dropping more and more. Some let you set the lower price that you'd jump in at so there's not any risk too.
Anyway, you might have to do some searching. The closest one I found (in a minute) to what we'd want is co-buying.com, though you'd have to request that Civ3 be added to their inventory. If you could get a dozen or more people committed, or maybe mobilize other Civ sites to swell the numbers over 50, you could get a pretty good deal.
If not for Civ3 it would be something to plan for in the future.

it's the same for us if you order 12 copies of the game or if 12 people order 1....Co-Founder, Apolyton Civilization Site
