The Altera Centauri collection has been brought up to date by Darsnan. It comprises every decent scenario he's been able to find anywhere on the web, going back over 20 years.
25 themes/skins/styles are now available to members. Check the select drop-down at the bottom-left of each page.
Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
I'd like to clarify the situation with MarkG or me. Interviews are mine in meaning that I make them, assign people, etc. MarkG is my boss, who might overrule my decisions, and he is who posts.

And now, the "Faces" concept will take on dimentions unforseen by it's creators, as an acidic, morally bankrupt corporate flunky interviews an acidic, corupt government flunky in a battle of wits that will most likely be far over the heads of the average apolyton poster.
Now this will be worth reading, and could lead to similar battles of intelects of matching ability, such as Giancarlo interviews evac, Saddam interviews Civnation2001, Rah interviews Ming (Who is Rah?), AnnC interviews MarkG, and many of fascinating matchups.
How about a poll not just of likely people to be interviewed, but also whom will do the interviewing? I'm sure someone would enjoy setting up such a poll.
All in all, this could bring the already popular feature to dazzling heights.
I believe Saddam because his position is backed up by logic and reason...David Floyd i'm an ignorant greek...MarkG

All I got from you was an E-mail calling me a slut and asking if I was interested in some rough trade

Hey give Solver some slack, most of us don’t volunteer for anything and making a good list of questions requires some work.

This is exactly the kind of thing that this feature is good for. apparently Eyes of night has a certain notoriety on these forums, and I have hardly heard of him (her) (it). I only know about people if I read their posts, or if they write a column. That's how I first heard of Horse, after all.
I had heard of Velocyrix before, but not Wes, before their interviews.
And I think the OT should be visited as well, even though I can't stand it myself. It's part of apolyton, and a great way to deal with a common problem. There are certainly Apolytoners there I haven't heard about.
Who is this Eyes of night, anyway?

I was just about to point out that Horsie is simply making excuses in advance for why he will suck at Civ III...

More replies to this tomorrow, as I'm going to be in a hurry soon.
Jay, if there were more people like AH, in on-topic, I'd run like hell in other direction. What's good about him? Posts I've seen from him were average at best, and he is very quick at insulting people, he can insult somebody in 2 posts.
But, he is an interesting poster and has contributed interesting ideas and discussions to the on topic and the off topic.
Solver- I hope you realize that most of the veterans have moved to the off-topic and will hardly remember some of these old (and new) on-topic posters. Thus, less people will enjoy the interviews.
Interviews with fun people would be interesting!
Ex: EVC, Giant Squid (good civ II scenarios and good civ IIer), Albert Speer (maybe Problems with my life Series I-XIV; I feel sorry for his life... I would like to see him discuss it more; if he wants) MikeH (spamking and interesting debator)
Wombat- thanks for the nomination :bats eyes:

lol GP, you're funny. What's even more funny is that you don't know ****. You really have no idea who I am. You have no idea who I know, and you have no idea of my capabilities in civ2. I went 2 years with only losing a total of 4 games on gameleague. You should read your history before you take me on, I guarantee you'll lose.
No offense. I was just trying to bring Pa Beast up to speed. If I've been anything other than accurate, we can get MWHC to clarify things.
Now take it easy and don't "civ me" to death. I mean you're such a brute and everything! Now Solver actually likes to be pushed around but I'm not into those rough "games."
We'll see who is better. Want to talk **** to me? Put your money where your mouth is. And bring MWHC along with you, I've always enjoyed making him look like a moron.
