"Imran is an interesting character, being a staff member with Deity post amount. Plus, he bring these news here."

Plus he has been here for a long time and he's at home at both on-topic and off-topic forums. And he will also be delighted to talk about his fond memories of April fools.

My interview with the great Solver

EyesOfNight- Welcome everyone, today I'm going to interview the great Solver. He is the Apolyton interviewer and he also....well he does a really good job at it and he really wants an interview so we thought we'd give him one. Solver, how are you doing today?
        Solver- I'm doing fine, thanks.

EyesOfNight- Ok, lets get started. I hear you're in charge of int....what is that in your pocket?

Solver- That's the Pocket Protector 2001. It's guaranteed to stop all ink on contact and it even has a patented dual action cleaning system. I got it from a friend.

EyesOfNight- *Chokes back laughter* I see, and who is this friend? It must be a very special friend to get you something like that.

Solver- hee hee hee Oh he is. *Bats eyelashes*

EyesOfNight- "He"...nothing...wrong....with that. We live in a civilized society where people like you....are...accepted. So....lets get to the interview. I hear you're a really good interviewer, can you tell us a little bit about how you got that highly esteemed job?

Solver- MarkG gave me the job after I...*blush* Well you know...

EyesOfNight- Oh...well he's greek and they are known for being...well...gay. I mean afterall the great ancient greek civilization was gay....not that there's anything wrong with that. So what do you feel your greatest contribution to ACS is?

Solver- That would have to be my superior intellect which the peasants of Apolyton all admire and envy.

EyesOfNight- And let me be the first to say that I truly do envy you. Now I hear you're having some troub...

        Solver- I'm the ACS interviewer.

        EyesOfNight- Yes I know...

Solver- I'm one of the most powerful people on apolyton.

EyesOfNight- That's wonderful, as a lowly servant of his majesty I feel compelled to kiss the ground you walk upon.

Solver- No really, I'm the Apolyton Interviewer.

        EyesOfNight- ....

Solver- Why are you looking at me like that?

        EyesOfNight- .....

        Solver- .....

EyesOfNight- I'm going to kill you. I'm going to rip of your head and I'm going stick it on a pike and parade through out all of apolyton so that all may see.

        Solver- I'm the Apolyton Interviewer.

        EyesOfNight- Shut up.

        Solver- I'm the Apolyton Interviewer.

EyesOfNight- *Jumps over the table* That's it, you're going to ****ing die!!!!

Snow replaces the picture on the television...

Eyes... a little "chill" might be in order. While he seems to have proved that he needs to learn a little more history about the civ forums... that's really no excuse to blow his head off

On the other hand... funny stuff... but let's not get personal
          Keep on Civin'

Solver attracts trolls like flowers attract bees

Hey Eyes - I think you and I should wait for the second interview series - "Farces of Apolyton".
Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Tis the rising of the moon..

Look, I just don't anymore, okay?

This is the first time I've laughed with Eyes instead of at him. Funny interview!

I'd love to see Bugs interview AH. . how about it Markos??

Number one was a smac player. . number two was a ctp player. . it's about time we get back to the community that started it all. . (and still the best civ game around) . . some Civ2 players. . i'd suggest

Scouse Gits for his work on the great library . . .
                . . i'd suggest yin, but he's such a damn pessimest about civ3 these days. . blah. .

If you avoid interviewing off topic posters. . then you're not truely getting "faces of apolyton" . .

That kind of witty remark is exactly why AH should be interviewed.

Let's try to remain serious, as much as possible. But Eyes, that's a great one! Really enjoyed it.

Pretty funny Eyes, even it was not exactly PC.

                        Loved the Seinfeld reference.

And I agree, this is a CIV site Damnit.

Solver, think of how much fun an Eyes interview would be.
It would also attract a lot of attention from a promotions standpoint.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

Hey give Solver some slack, most of us don’t volunteer for anything and making a good list of questions requires some work.

What's to stop AH or Bugs, etc. from simply making an interview themselves, without the endorsement of MarkG or DanQ (or the mighty Solver )?

I guess they can post such an interview as a normal thread in OT, but if they want it included as one of the threads in each forum and keep it topped for all us to read, they will need MarkGs approval (or Solver depending on who wins the big fight!!)

Rasputin, I'm taking care of Faces of Apolyton, not other interviews, and not what is posted in the OTF.
Colon, making a list of questions is difficult. You need to know much about the person you're asking questions. BTW, if somebody wants to ask questions for FoA 4, mail me. if the person agrees, I'll post here saying who he is, if not, I'll just tell you he refused you, without naming the name.
