Since you wanted explanations for each of our choices, here is my rational for my picks:

MidKnight Lament - great contributor to the Civ 3 forums early on, opinions always strongly listened to

All three SG's - they have given so much to the community and it is always fun having to remember which one is speaking

    Ming - no explanaiton needed

yin26 - former Civ 3 moderator, creator of many lists, currently on a crusade to make civ 3 a playable game, and countless other additions to the site

Horse - if you don't want to interview him then I understand. But the joy many have gotten from his posts will be remembered and he is one of the two or three most known posters on the site

I would also support many of the other suggestions. And I of course would look forward to interviews with all of the moderators. Question being, what would you ask Markos or Dan about their contribution to the site that we don't already know or that they don't want to tell us?

I'll agree to be interviewed by you on the following conditions:

The first question is "When did you first realise you were gay?"

At some point where I'll be unprepared you toss in "When did you stop beating your wife?"

You ask me some questions about my experinces with Call to Power II so I can slag off Activision and anyone still stupid enough to be playing that piece of cr#p.

You ask me about why I don't play SMAC so I can poke fun at science fiction games and drop a bucket on the whole science fiction thing in general.

You ask me a few questions about Apolyton including its moderation policies, the war on spam and my theory that modern Greeks are in fact Albanians whilst the ancient Macedonians were not Greek.

You don't ask me any questions which may embarrass Mark or Dan - I can do that without your help thank you very much.

You let me ask YOU a few pointed unscripted questions at the end.

      So how about it cutie?

You must interview AH, he is a legend, even if we dont see eye to eye everyday I still appreciate all his "serious" posts . I think your bias to CTP and SMAC show clearly through your posts here and your choice of the first interviews, but no one jumped up and down when you chose a non Civ 2 poster. While many regard CTP and SMAC as just extensions of the civ game, most diehard Civ 2 aholics like myself dont, We regard Civ 3 as the sequel to Civ 2...

And I cant beleive anybody could ask Who is Rah?

I sent you my suggestions for next interview via PM but didnt add a reason..

I nominated Scouse Gits {1} & {2} for all their knowledge of civ 2 in general.

Markus and War4Ever for their knowledge of Multiplayer.

Alexander Horse because he is an all time legend of Apolyton (even if he did spam some)

and I add Drake and Capo as masters of the Diplo version of MP Civ 2.

          Markos,
Keygen might have done Tau Ceti, but because I appointed him to. I have the final word in who does the interview, and with whom. Keygen wanted to do an interview, and I let him, but I could as well refuse it and do it myself. While I listen to what others say, I take the final decision in whom is interviewed. Don't try to look too harsh here, I know how are you in reality.

          Rah,
          Classic one!

          AH,
Luckily, Latvia isn't probably the worst example of USSR. I wasn't one of those shot, as you see . In the interview with you, if and when it comes, I'd like to see flaming me as much as possible, so that I can cry even later then.

Mods, isn't there a staff room that you could take this whole argument to?

I mean, Markos comes on and says that basically while Solver is important to this process he isn't final. In essence it was to pubically take some off the heat of this thread from Solver to Markos, who we all know can take the heat. Now with this last thread of Solver arguing with the boss, he has put the heat right back on himself.

                  What gives? Why in public?

is this a real stouch or is it just all in jest, perhaps they meet in their secret little staffroom and plan all this type of thing, you know solver volunteers to be the bad guy and markg rides in on his white stallion and saves the day for posters evrywhere

When I talk to Markos privately, we're just like friends. We're just both showing how big we are in public, to play a little bit . Plus, I am the volunteer, always.

Good volunteers are ALWAYS appreciated. Many wonderfull things would not get done without them.

You should interview the following people:

Hoek Ming, Jay Bee, Chasing Rainbows, Xin Yu, Allard

That's the crew! We go way back to the old Addicted to Civ 2 forums! It was guys like allard and jay bee who got me really interested in the creation aspect of civ 2...i know that I may not have contributed alot in recent memory, but I think it'd be fun to interview us "old" farts

And maybe Imran should be interviewed too, if only to soothe his ego.
