Could we please have a status report on what is malfuntioning with the forums and what is being done to fix it?

as you might have read in the news of the about section, the server was down yesterday for about 45 minutes. along with the originating problem, for some reason, the server clock was offset three hours.
this caused problems both when it started as well as when the correct time was restored. all problems should be over now or very soon(just a matter of.... time)Co-Founder, Apolyton Civilization Site

Are you talking about the news window? That doesn't have the word "announcements" by it. And we had that before. The little letter thing was in addition.Comment

I see what you mean now. It's not on top of the page. It's a THREAD. on top of the other threads.
I don't like that so much. Seems to get lost in the normal threads. you don't notice so much when it changes. The littleAOLish " you got mail" symbol was better.Comment
