Is there any way to set the default not to show my signature. I found out how to avoid the automatic subscription to threads & forums, but not how to keep the sig box unchecked by default.

Actually, It's very simple- Don't have a signature in the first place.

Actually I don't mind the present signatures because they are quite small and unobtrusive, so I can live with them. Before they were as big as the normal text and those big sigs, which some people have, become irritating after a while...Speaking of Erith:
