    the problem is that i need to set a new variable for the text exactly or else there will be problems in the others styles....

          The second post in this thread has a quote converted with the new forum. Actually it's handled as any HTML-code and not as a quote. If you quote that message you'll se that it quotes the old quote too.

          I think that you should be able to search the database for

          <center><table width=80%><tr><td>
          <font color=000080 face="Verdana" size=2><font size="1">quote:<br>
          <img src="/images/blue1.gif" width=100% height=1>
          [i]quoted text[/i]
          <br><img src="/images/blue1.gif" width=100% height=1></font></td></tr></table></center>
          and replace it with
          Code:
          [quote][i]quoted text[/i][/quote]
          All linebreaks in the code are to make it easier to read.
