  • Bug when editing posts in private forums

When returning to the forum thread after editing a post in any forum, it will append a "?n#n" to the URL where n stands for the number of that post. IN a regular forum, this allows you to view a fresh version of the page, conveniently centered on your post. Not so in a private forum, where all it does is prevent anything from being shown at all.

Not a major problem (just deleting the last four symbols will let you see the thread anyway), but somewhat annoying.

I concur with Hugo. The same has just happened to me in the Staff forum.

Also: The Who's On-Line function is not visible from inside a private forum. This is even more minor, of course.

Seems like poetic justice for all those hanging out in the private clubhouse.

You're an admin, though. Try with one of your DLs.

(What I did was actually to open a new window with the standard reply button content. Should it matter?)

Problem #(er, what is it) #4?

Clicking directly on the second page of a thread doesn't work.

Conclusion: The PF code is F**ked up.

the thing is that the "anchor" feature that takes to your post and the "multipage" feature that lists the pages are hacks that where written for non-private forums....

So that hack and the straight-to-post edit hack and the post reply in new window hack and the who's online hack were not tested on private forums, eh?
