Colonization II?

Hello chaps. I was just wondering, has anyone heard about a Colonization II? Personaly, I think that Colonization was one of Sid's best games. Is there word of any 2?

No word to my knowledge on this site or anywhere else.

For Colonization II to be made by Sid, Infrogames through the purchase of Hasbro which purchased Microprose would have to approach the legend himself. This would seem more unlikely than Sid working with Hasbro/Microprose on Civilization in the sense that it is twiced removed within the corporate structure. However, both Colonization and Pirates are both games I would love to see sequels of.

Of course it is at the wrong site but it is here so I figured we would all answer The Commodore's questions. Now the question is will it be closed?
