• Glonk's OT Thread (ICQ Ad Blocker)

Why was it closed? Perhaps I missed something, but from what I saw of that thread there was nothing "knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law" about it. If you're going to delete all threads about program add-ons, please say so, and I shall refrain from posting my "The Google Toolbar- Good or bad?" thread.

As I recall there was a thread about that program that deletes certain "unnecessary" features of Windows 98 a while back. Why didn't you delete that?

Oh dear. I must be sure to not post patches to freeciv in the freeciv forum!

Come to think of it, apolyton hostes many programs altering civ games behavior... . Could it be that this thread was removed because of... add blocking!

                    --,

That's winlite. No, it doesn't modify any program per se, it just stops IE from being installed when you install Windoze 9x.
