Funny how quiet the mods are on this one... maybe this is the big secret they've been talking about...

I've stumbled on it! I'm the man!

reismark: Last time the issue was raised MarkG posted something like "No comment" rather than the usual "We have no plans to do this now or in the near future". The point was made all the more obvious by the fact that he had made exactly such a comment on the question of OpenTopic (another BB system) just a week earlier.

seriously, i think we have already said that we are working on some big changes, but nothing can be said as nothing is 100% certain yet....

Markos, why are we going to shift back to having Nate Snitzer run the boards? I mean, I'm happy about the shift to branching threads. But Nate doesn't know all the new stuff going on here.

It does look good, so far.

But isn't postgres better than mySQL?

and most of the stuff comes for mysql these days(i think)

I went over to that Europa Universalis forum and was quite disappointed. It was a lot slower then apolyton and I couldn't open any of the threads; they just gave me a blank page. The black background is also an incredible eyesore.

Whatever you do, please don't change the gray backgrounds and black text. Light text on dark backgrounds gives me a headache and makes it hard to read the text.
