  • Civ II or Civ 2?

Why is it that this is the ‘Ultimate Civilization II (Roman numeral) Site’ but the ‘First Greek Civilization 2 (Arabic numeral) Site’?

Why this inconstancy right at the heart of the organisation?

Because those were the original names of the two separate sites that merged to form the original Apolyton.

And the roman numeral accords with the game's official title.

Yep, but if you contract the name to use the shorter "Civ", then I find it better to use the arabic numeral... Like they do it in the forum names...
          But it's just my preference.

Dan, why do you insist on antogonizing Markos like this. It is OK that he used 2 instead of II.

Yeah, but you're just a lazy bugger, Fiera.

Not really. Look at my home page and you'll see I used the complete name there, with the roman numerals. Go to the Units or Misc section and you'll see it.

                    Stop it.
My joke posts should get a couple of disinterested replies at most. Nobody cares whether it is Civilization II or Civilisation 2 let alone Civ 2 or Civ II.

Pardon? PM me about it if you must, but this is getting quite off-topic now... back to the discussion at hand or this thread will be closed.

Dan, you need to lighten up, seriously

Either that, or we've just been too jaded by the (p)OT.
