  • MarkG help I messed up my username.

MarkG yesterday I was reading connombiro thread about changing his username and I thought that I had a brilliant idea.

So I thought that I could change my username like prince to make it

the poster that was previous known as sleeperservice

I acted spontaneously and the script accepted it.

But know I have a problem I cant seem to type it into the form and I saw that nobody else has a username that long.

I know that you are very buzy and I know that I created the error and I am kind of sorry for it and I know the 60 day rule but could you please change my username to something shorter because I cant do it my shelf ?

I had to change the form loccally to log in sorry about that

    You're screwed.

Snapcase made the same at least one month ago and he still got no help.

      why ?

a)I think that the ads can change it
      b) even if they cant if a username that longs does not poses problems i can use this to post anywhere even now
or in the end they can delete this username and i log with zero posts with another

I didnt say the cant do it.

I said that Snapcase has the same problem and MarkG didnt fix it yet, and gave various excuses.

It was 2 A.M in greece when I had this "brilliant" idea to change my username.

It seemed good at the time

UR, the point is that the connorkimbro thread warned about this same issue...

As I've EXPLAINED to MarkG, Changing the name back (even after 60 days) is impossible because of the brilliant idea to put a character limit on the Login to change the login, but not on the login change script itself.

So now there are two or three of us with this problem. When is MarkG going to stand up and take notice?

(Ming will allow you to use a temporary DL until MarkG finally gets of his butt. Incidentally, don't get your hopes up.)

                        Snapcase,
With his real Login listed as "Like a Preserved Snbapcase on Stage"

                            this thread isn't closed

this is a good lesson for the irrisponsible youngsters out there . I thought long and hard (for about 4 seconds) before changing my user name. Even though I only have to type it in once per session, even Dissident Aggressor was too much. Increased the chance of error etc. And I don't consider myself an aggressor anyways, but I am a dissident.
