What about a MoO 1/2/3 section? Before you tell me it's not Civ, I have to point out that neither is Dino, or whatever it's name. And if you say that is a Sid Meier game, very clearly CtP 1/2 aren't

But CtP is Civ and Dinosaurs is Sid Meier. I think that a game on this site has to be Civ or Sid or both. (I'm just guessing, though.)

If Colonization did not have a chance here, I think it
's Buckleys for Moo. They'd probably welcome your suggestion at CGN though

Despite some differences CtP is still based on the Civ idea and mirrors it so it still qualifies as being a "Civ" game. I would think that other games are off-topic.

tonic,
Colonization is so old though, and it never did quite catch on. Though I agree with you that if the restriction is "Sid Meier's games," then it should count.
Christantine,
Then how come we don't have Sid's Gettysburg section here? Also, you can say most of the 3X (eXplore, eXpand, eXterminate) games have their roots in Civ. They all share some similarities.

Heya. I've answered a question similiar to this in recent weeks. We believe that Civilization and its related/inspired/subsequent titles etc. are already well represented here on ACS. That said, we are looking for section quality over quantity.
Perhaps sometime farther down the road we can re-examine these options, but not for the foreseeable future anyway.

UR: In my thread in Other Games asking for suggestions for abandonware games MOO1 and 2 could have come second if we count your vote as well. Perhaps you could bump that thread - I would be interested in your views on their playability. I know you already have a thread there on MOO1 vs MOO2 but it would be nice to have a review in one spot.

Yes, I'm sure that it's in the pipeline. Check out the survey on the first page.

Talking about CGN, of course. MOO was the second most voted topic for "What game should CGN cover next?".
