This icon is good because it is good for situations where you're trying to get away with things. The old icon is just too friendly. Besides, why can't the site just have both icons?

I liked the "friendliness" of the old icon

In that case, I vote for both!

By the wya, aren't you the "ACS Forum Helper" - can't you just implement the thing then?

I realise I'm too late, but I'd like to register my support for:

                1) Yes
                2) Keep new as , old as :]

btw, how can you disable any particular smily w/o disabling smilies in the entire post?

It's not a great solution but it works.

Or you could use the same technique used to circumvent the autocensor.

While I'm here, I might as well add my own gripe: (:mad instead of ( )

edit; it works, that's a better solution then

oh btw, the old smiley will come back, I just heard. It's just going to take some time. But one day, the yellow big smile will be with us again (and so will this ugly thing but that's ok )

Why does it take so long just to implement a simple thing like a smily?

(This thread suffers from a severe attack of smilies. )

                        - !

                            1. No, and don't bring the old one back. It makes me want to puke.

                            (love that thing)
