            . i concur in page size reduction. I surf from three different platforms, from a 33.5k modem to a DSL, and the page load time for the modem is long one.

                It has less to do with the number of posts than the code UBB emits for making the webpage layout pretty. I was looking at the size of the HTML file and it's quite large. I wonder if it would be smaller if more CSS and less HTML code is used.

                But then, we have to be careful with IE users since IE is <em>diverging</em> from W3C standards.

                  get a faster modem
                  my pages load decent btw so don't change a thing. Some threads reach 50 in no time. If it involves sex it will reach 150 in no time. 150 is already to constrictive. so leave it
