  • Help! finbar can't login

Sorry about the thread but I can't send E-mail from this machine.

finbar has been unable to login since the site went down. He sent Mark an E-mail but got no reply. His current E-mail address is still as registered with you.

Please help this fine Apolyton citizen and role model to youth. If you have trouble contacting him, pls PM me or post here.

    Thanks

Just so you don't think you are being ignored...

I did pass this information on to MarkG earlier in the week. finbar seems to have suffered the same fate as Mao. Hopefully, it will be fixed soon.

It's the Curse of Apolyton again. Very nasty.

Any clues as to what causes this?

        AH, et al.:

This Apolyton Curse is a scary thing. And I second the question — why do server crashes cause this to happen in the first place?

Reismark said in another thread that the login losses at civgaming was when the server ran out of hard drive space...

This also happened at CGN when our server hard drive maxed out... I lost my account (but managed to restore it) and several other posters had the same thing happen in my absence...

Thanks, Mark, got the email. My count was around 2600, give or take a few. Honest!

Not being as sticky around Apolyton these days, it's taken me a while to catch up with this finbar episode. When are you going to resurrect his 2600 post-count so I can once again defer to His Majestic, King Oedipus.
