Why is the OT thread "The Apolytoners House, A Karen Mills Thread" sticky ?

And why is it so blooming slow here today. I returned after about an hour to find I had posted the last post !

If it were that good it would be bumped anyway.

Actually, it has been bumped many times... for several weeks already...
But having it sticky is much easier, and draws even more attention to it (hopefully).

Hey, and let's face it, it's by far the most positive thread on the OT, so it deserves special attention!

Is it ? Must read it sometime. But with a title about someone I don't know, and a reference to an Apolyton house - well I haven't been in the coffee shop for ages, so a house doesn't exactly enthrall.

We're trying to raise money to build a house for a poor girl in the Phillippines.

A very noble cause, so that's why I said it's the most positive thread in the OT.

These threads that stick to the top are called sticky, which seems a good way to refer to em...

...but what are the other threads called?

*Lancer, once again dealing w/ the really big questions.

Mark, in case you missed it in the Karen Mills thread, thanks! If you and Dan hadn't put this site together, there would be no great effort to do this gal justice. Now, you've "sticky-fied" it, and made a news story, and these things really helped directly.
