Murgatroyd: Someone (probably The Call of Snapcase) found an empty forum directory on the Apolyton server. He then alerted a select few, and these few then used this empty forum to spam to their hearts content. This happened - AFAIK - about one week ago. They got cocky, however, and let more people into their little circle. And as such things always go, they were found out. How is as yet unknown, and will probably stay so.

Now we are just all waiting exitedly for the sentences. MUWAHAHAHAHA

They got caught because they got cockey about it. Nimrod/Dookie/whatever started a thread where he alluded to it. And then AH posted a link in the thread. The link was later deleted, but not soon enough.
Granted, it would have eventually been caught, but it did make it easier.

And yes, still awaiting judgement
