For the glory and honor of Apolyton, Apolyton is submitting a team for the World Masters E-Mail Diplomacy tournament. We did this last year too, but we made some mistakes then we don't intend on repeating this time. One was not enough communication between ourselves. We intend to fix that this time, hopefully with "sticky" threads on top of the S&D, one for Team I and one for Team II, where Team members discuss how the game is going, the moves, etc.
There's one little problem with this plan. Anybody from other teams who knows where Apolyton is can come to our forums and read off all of our thoughts and possible next moves.
So, to correct this, can we make some threads be only readable by certain people (in this case, pretty much everybody in the S&D forum)? I know that Sidgames has a feature like this. It'd be nice if we could have that too, where you have to be logged in as an authorized viewer of the thread to see it.
Failing that, we could ask you to set up a private-accees forum which I know UBB has a feature for already, but to be honest, I think we'd just prefer the sticky threads in the S&D. It's rather annoying to have to go to an entirely different forum just to look at the one or two threads in it.
Thanks for considering this. The Tournament won't be starting until October 1st, so there should be plenty of time to prepare a quick hack for this, should you decide to do so.
