  • IE 5.5 and Open (New Window)

After upgrading to IE 5.5, opening a news item in a new window will open a small window with the Maximise button greyed out. This means it cannot be maximised, practically turning it unreadable, and forcing me to open a new browser window, copying the URL across and opening the page there. You couldn't fix this in any way, could you?

Just a long shot, but have you tried hitting the PF11 key? That's the shortcut key I use for maximizing browser windows in Explorer 4.0.

That doesn't just maximise it, that messes it up totally. Nice try, though.

a variable was missing from the code that created the file, and ie was by default taking it as "no"....

            That's a bugger, isn't it?

I guess that it could be useful if it was something like "delete server"

But what if it was something like "keep world alive", now that would be... interesting
