  • Possible glitch

    The eight hour posting rule in the OTF. A little while ago I tried posting a new topic, but it gave me the flood warning message. So I thought "ok I'll wait one minute and try again". A minute later, I tried posting it gave me the one topic per eight hour thing. I WASN'T EVEN AWAKE 8 HOURS AGO!! Can someone please check into this... thanks

          The same problem arose a couple of weeks ago when the server clock went berko and wound itself back. No one could post because eight hours hadn't passed because it couldn't have because the time, according to the server clock, was before you'd last posted.

            Markos, Dan, this is a real problem. I'm not trying to complain, but I just want to make these forums a better place... and to make your jobs a little "easier"

            For every script error WE find, thats one less that YOU have to find.

              The problem is that the script does the topic flood control check before doing the post flood control check. If one of the admins would reverse the order of the two checks, the problem would be solved.
              main(i,_){for(!_||(--i,main(i+2,i["FHhhTBFHdhTBFBQT\2TBF&]zRF$hh*:FHhh+&FBIsbDF"]));
              i&&_>1;printf("%s",_-70?_&1?"[]":" ":(_^=_,"\n")),_/=2);} /*- Mark -*/
