If you can't beat 'em, use their MO. Those who consider themselves serious discursive folks can form an informal cartel within OT. By outnumbering the spammers in the "serious" threads you frequent you could really make them feel out of place, having the tables turned against them for a change. Perhaps one should start a petition thread to recruit the "discursives"?

How about we just put a link to ACOL in the forums directory page, and call that the "Spam off topic forum" and the spammers could go their to spam, while the present AOT could be used as a place for seropis discussion.
