Switzerland is CET, which is GMT +1. Finland is not; I can only assume it is called something like Eastern European Time, which is GMT +2. We are in Summer Time at the moment, but I don`t think that this affects anything, as almost everywhere is on Summer Time, so the time zone differences are the same.

      Now I'm confused?

So is it 9pm BST (British Summer Time), which we are currently running on?

when Britain, Central Europe and Finnland are in summer time then the calculation is no problem:

          9:00 pm BST
10:00 pm CEST (Central European Summer Time)
11:00 pm EEST (Eastern European Summer Time)

I don't know whether the acronyms I used are all correct, but that doesn't matter. the times for Europe should be clear now...

OK, so Switzerland is +1 GST, and Finland is +2 GST. That means I was wrong at first, but who gives a ****, since I'll miss it anyway.

In order to be even more confused: the server is normally (or should normally be) at EDT, but it is currently one hour behind that. However, based on Dan's announcement in the About section the chat starts at 16:00 EDT, which would be 15:00 forum time. Unless you can get the server back to EDT before the start of the chat.

Server time is trailing an hour behind EDT again which is what is likely causing any confusion...

The chat starts at 16:00 EDT, or 15:00 Apolyton Time.

Let's see, I'm 6 hours ahead of EDT. Checking my atlas, I'm also 6 hours ahead of New York. So yes, EDT is the time in NY.
