Maybe I missed an annoucement somewhere, but what happened to the drop down list of news items that sat on the RHS? It doesn't seem to be appearing for me. I would go check if there's a news article about it, but I always access them via the box.

still there, and I can see it with both ie and netscape....

Yeah, very strange. I checked it out when I was at uni today, and it looked fine there. And I can usually see it using ie5. I haven't even been playing with any settings lately. Ah well.

Ok, I figured it out. I'd installed WebWasher after that nasty pop-up incident a month ago, but hadn't been using it since Gamestats took it off. The other night I was bombarded with pop-ups when I entered an abandonware site, so I decided to use WebWasher again to filter pop-ups. Apparently the news box counts as one.
