The whole point to me is that the edit and quote buttons aren't on the same line (maybe it's because I'm using a computer with 600x800 resolution currently - I forgot to mention that before), the color doesn't really bother me (though I liked the dark grey slightly better).
    <img src="/images/blue1.gif" width=100% height=1></font></td></tr></table></center>hmm point taken
    how about now?
be sure to reload the images...

I don't like the look. Having an ICQ button is and probably quite usefull), but the different color looks horrable.

On a different note, think it is great that you are making some changes to the forums. Keep up the good work!

Now the background colors are switched. The edit and reply with quote now have a lighter background in posts with a dark grey background and a darker grey background on posts with a light gray background.

Slightly better... I still think it might be the ICQ button, because the thin line does not align itself properly to the message icon as it did before.

(Oh, and I noticed in one post I made that there sufddenly were two edit buttons. Hallucination or bug?)

IN some threads, the edit and quote buttons are on top of each other:
            http://apolyton.net/forums/Forum19/H...tml?date=09:56

I think this is a case of having too many buttons on the bar. I think that "icq" will work just as well as "icq message" for the icon and save you some more room.

And make all the buttons the same background color, please. For one thing, it's too distracting when you're scrolling down.

I'm still seeing the edit and quote button on top of each other I reloaded the page several time but no difference. (In netscape it looks fine but I don't like netscape).

Problem solved! It turned out that my font settings were causing it, so it was a problem with my own system It looks fine now.

It screws up a few things but its sure easier than looking in the profile for an ICQ number then waiting for authorization etc...
