Don't get me started on this. I would fully support the inclusion of any flags of a nation with no state: Catalan, Basques, Kurds, etc. This could easily be made into a policy by the Owner. And no, there's a distinction between Virginia and Quebec, and these are more than administrative.

But since you think that legitimacy is decided by dusty aristocrats drawing borders on maps, should we really consider your opinion?

After looking at the list, here are some interesting flags I found:

      Australia aboriginal
      French Guini independantist
      Tibet

If there is any justice in this world the Owner will add the flags of Quebec and of the other strong national movements backed with history, culture a political force and common sense.

I know I won't get my flag but I'll defend my point. Saying that Texas is more worthy of a flag than Quebec is just frivolous. Both aren't countries, but one is clearly a nation.

They could also start using the US flag.

I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

Let's add the flag of those that formed an internationally recognized State, with the huge innovative feature of embedding the right to slavery in the Constitution.

You DO know that unlike your province, my state was once a sovereign nation, right?

Furthermore, my ancestors actually fought a war of independence and hosted the capital of the rebel republic for several years before the rebellion was put down.

I'd say there's plenty of historical precendent.

Hey, you were the one who asked for historical precedent, as I recall.

Even those pesky Texans were a sovereign nation for longer than Quebec.

I'll forgive your ignorance about the history of my own province. You do know that it was conquered in 1763, right? That it proclaimed independance thereafter but lost the war just like you?

What do you think happened? Yeah, Britain said to itself one day "let's ask the king of France a few thousand dudes and seed **** out there for the hell of it"? More likely, those French dudes had settled the land in the 16th century by themselves, even before the Mayflower arrived.

More importantly though, when was the last time Texas had a referendum about its sovereignty?
