I have a removed one popup provider which may be responsible for the ad (our other provider also gives us a full list of the showed ads and it doesnt seem to include this one)

let me know if you get it again. if you do, please post a screenshot that also shows the top 468x60 ad

also, in general, referring urls' from IE history also help

True but only if you catch it before the installation box comes up. The other boxes boxes are modal, meaning you can press alt + f4 as many times as you like, and it'll do diddly squat.

      Thanks Markos!

Glad to see service to the plebs hasn't slid since Poly started receiving an additional source of income.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

We remain determined to now allow overly intrusive popups like this running on Apolyton. If you notice something like that, dont hesitate to contact us. - MarkG

Well done on removing the offending pop-up (company). I've been surfing from the uni PC's here with no problems

Thanks for axing it, it was seriously annoying.

                    Thank you.

No sign of the thing currently so I rather think you got it.

If more respectable sites take your line conceivably the woeful standards among advertisers will inch upwards.

                      Hahahahahahahaha

Can't say I've ever noticed any pop-ups on Apolyton!

Is this related to my using Mozilla, by any chance?

it's related to not realizing that some things(servers, bandwidth) are not free in this life

I apologise, was out of line.

Switch to IE in future but I often just forget and browse everything with Mozilla which blocks by default

Blocks by default yes, but there is an allowed sites list...
