Scanning it made it look MUCH better by reducing it from A3. You can't see the pencil lines anymore.
Oh, and the cheap trick is to work on slightly rough grey paper, not white crap = instant artist.
I see ALL the mistakes though. Look at the hair to the right on the first picture where I screwed up and tried to use some water, and there's too much black in the second picture, and too much pink on the head.
