  • Like most great artists, you might go so far as to say GF is a tad oversensitive; but paranoia is a stretch. Having been, as he said , banned without notice before, this is merely an abundance of caution.

Hopefully, if enough folk shout encore!, The Mythos will be completed.

So, let's hear some more, GF. Please.

    • Its all a ploy to drum up publicity.
One day Canada will rule the world, and then we'll all be sorry.

Bill Gates said this was the best way to go!

And Ming grasped Provost Harrison and boomed.
"This abuse of the mortal beings must cease!"
"Halt this wretched molestation of their lust!"
For Ming felt anger that someone else should abuse them.

But Provost Harrison would not relent.
He further twisted the mortals towards wickedness.
And the gargled cries of the mortals were heard by Ming.
And Ming was wroth, very and most terribly wroth.

And Ming grasped Provost Harrison and proclaimed,
"I hast warned thee of this wickedness!"
"Thou dost not listen and so must pay the consequences!"
At which Ming cast Provost Harrison down from Apolyton.

And Provost Harrison continued with his wickedness.
And Ming cast him down again yet Provost continued.
And Ming cast him down a third time but his anger was not abated.
And thus Ming in wrothful anger cast Provost down again and again unto the counterglow of nothingness.

I don't know what actually happened so I used artistic license.

If he was banned for violating the upload rules... so were tons of other people. It clearly states in the rules (that seems like NOBODY bothered to read) that it was against the rules... so it seems like GF's cries of being banned with no notice is being overly dramatic. Yeah, a simple PM to him asking for a change might have been better for him... but considering that MANY people have been caught violating this simple rule... the owners don't have time to send even short PM's to all the offenders. The list of people caught on this rule is REALLY long... and I don't think the owners have the time to send little PM's to everybody who have already ignored them once

            Well, duh!
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

            • If that is what it was, Ming, then maybe it was overly dramatic. My interest is solely to get GF to post more of this story. It seems to be quite good, even if it, too, is a bit overly dramatic.

              • Its a mythos! Its supposed to be overly dramatic!

You don't want to hear about Zeus clipping his fingernails.

It would be helpful to know the order in which they achieved Deity level and where the majority of their post were.

As I understand it Ming got a good chunk of his post from Off Topic before its post were no longer counted.

Not correct... the majority of my posts were on topic. While I did get some, like many people... people forget I was posting on the Original Greek Site long before the merger, and have always been VERY active in the Civ II community

Since this is modelled on Greek mythology, I want to hear the bit where Ming changes into an animal and ravishes a virgin.

I don't know that you would need mythology for that!

Ming's been ravishing a virgin..., I never would have expected him to sink that low..

Or dou you just want to read a dirty story before going to bed eh
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God? - Epicurus
