Given current events and Panag's home address (Israel) and occupation (military), I fear for the worst. Let us hope that he has just been posted to somewhere without an internet connection.

While some may dislike him, all must agree that there are a lot of different personalities and nationalities on this forum. As a result, we almost never agree on any given subject.

However we all agree that this is a good forum to post on and losing anyone for whatever reason is a loss for all of us.

The Temple of Apolyton is getting crowded!

But anyway, what are each of our deities protectors of?

The following is meant as humour and if any are offended, then I apologise.

MarkG - Overgod and protector of all things.
Alexander's Horse - God of Trolls. Frequently in conflict with Ming.
Mao - God of Spammers. Also frequently in conflict with Ming.
Ming The Merciless - Slayer of spammers and trolls, God of CASE CLOSED and Overlord of the dread realm Mingapulco.
rah - Lord of ferrits, Brother of Ming (a title all of it's own) and Overlord of Rahlcatraz.

I have yet to fathom the nature of the others.

I think the thing with Panag was, love him or hate him, he sticks in your mind.

And I suspect he will return at some point.

I miss Panag, I know from what Ive read that many found him annoying, but he helped me with questions regarding civ3 several times and I have to say I witnessed many times his posts offering help and advice to many others. Abruptly sometimes but always politely.

              I hope he is OK

I recall someone saying that he was still posting at another forum. I can't recall who said it or where though, so this may be entirely false.

Let's make panag an honourary deity.

                        Maybe he'll come back then.

The PM story is already well on it's way to being an Apolyton 'Urban Legend'.

btw, congrats rah, since I didn't say it the 1st time.
