    You can disable the showing of smilies when you post, should your code secretly contain smilies of mass distruction .

        This was in responce to Qilue's comment that smilies worked inside the code tag. Sometimes people put programming text in the code tags, and of course this may contain smilies like :) or whatever that you don't want to appear as smilies.
        I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).
