How come the combo-box for the news doesn't work anymore?

It looks like this: Completely empty

There hasn't been much news lately. Just speculation.

It was ok this morning ...

This happens on occasion when the news database is being built, usually during the submission of a new entry where the process ends abruptly due to e.g. high server load. It is easily corrected when identified. When this occurs it is more often than not caught by the person who posts the latest news item in question, but no one is perfect.

Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

Ahh.. thanks for destroying my illusions, DanQ... I was sure that if anyone was perfect, it was the mods.

Dang... next you'll be telling me, that the easter bunny doesn't exist, or something ridiculous!
