  • Redirect function being weird

Each time I click on a link to a non-Poly site, the url appears to be getting corrupted- it's having problems with back-slashes by the looks of things.

    Back-slashes in a URL? o_O

When does it go wrong? From the click to the redirect screen, or from the redirect screen to the destination?

All url's. I haven't been able to use any external links from Poly threads for a couple of days- unless I re-write the url to remove the corrupt characters.

I'm using IE- Apolyton is the only forum affected by this.

While that gets around the problem in the mean-time it is not a good solution.
a: it is annoying to the person trying to follow the link
b: it doesn't get Poly additional advertising revenue

So neither parties in this transaction gain any benefit from the current situation.

I meant copy and paste the URL in this thread so we could see what was going wrong

I'm using IE, and links seem fine. I'm not about to buy any of the dodgy products on the redirect pages though

Now that's just ****ing bizarre. I put the cut'n'pasted url in that post, it still shows up when I try to edit it, but it's invisible in the post.
