If indeed something like this is done, I would recommend that another old time Civ player who was a very active member of this site, and one of original Civ II PM players also be included.

Tazidude fought a long battle with cancer and passed away in January of 2000. While suffering with his illiness, he used Civ II MP as an escape and a distraction. Even with death looking him right in the face, he continued to post and play... He was a friend to many... a great competitor... and it was truely sad when he finally had to leave the communtiy because the pain got to be too much.

I know many of you were not around back when he shared himself with the Apolyton Community, but the old timers will never forget him.
    Keep on Civin'
RIP rah, Tony Bogey & Baron O

          Signed.

          I knew him as a skilled CTP-player.

I have had the pleasure both to make more than one dirty deal with him against "our" foes , taken over a nation from him (the Assyrians, http://apolyton.net/forums/showthrea...threadid=52912 and http://apolyton.net/forums/showthrea...0&pagenumber=1) - and I have been the target.

RIP Steve - you are missed .

I welcome such an initiative. And yes, we weren't around.

Perhaps a document should be created and linked to from 'Poly that gives late members of our community a sort of memorial that other members can peruse from time to time.

And I agree completely with Ming about the third auto-inductee.
