I read a lot of the On-Topic CIV3 and GALCIV forums, but rarely post. In the On Topic I usually want to contribute something and there are so many gamers WAY beyond my level. I read to learn and keep up. In the Off Topic I will usually speak my mind on subjects that interest me. All in all, I enjoy being a part of this community. I am on track to get to Prince in a little over one year here. I think that is fine. If that level was different, then that would be okay to. It seems to me that only the most involved get to the higher titles anyway. Their status is easily recognizable. There is no need for additional titles...it would only be defining to a minority anyway.

If I may make one suggestion is to change 'deity' into 'diety', that would solve alot of "typo's"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God? - Epicurus

Well, I don't feel that the current levels for each "rank" should be moved. To be a deity here requires a lot of posts, and 10,000 reflects that. Moving emperor forward would only serve to decrease the number of emperors, moving it back would make achieving the rank after emperor even harder. If the software does limit us to only 7 ranks, then the current spread is optimal, in my opinion.
Although would many people miss the "Chieftan" rank?I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

What's the point of moving the requirements for various levels anyway, when post count is just a fun thing to have?(\__/) 07/07/1937 - Never forget

I think that "Chieftan" is at the right place. If a settler shows any interest in participating in the community then they will quickly gain the chieftan rank. This shows that they are new but participating. Nothing wrong with that."I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you're not patriotic.
