and then Sid could be 20,000
Sid- 20K
Deity- 10K
Demigod- 5K or 6K
Emperor- 3K
Although, personally, i think that the Sid level is the only necessary one
Demigod sounds sort of tacky I'd rather be an emperor than a Demigod

You could try to get more posts than the person immediately above you in the Top 20 posters chartIndeed. Once you reach Emperor, there is no major goal to shoot for. You need to more than triple your post count just to get to the next rank. that's what keeps me active alhtough make a conscious effort to make every one of my posts count- which translates into many hours spent on apolyton- especially since I've already discussed most things worth discussing.

Well, as it is, it will only take a few more years with the current system that the DG activists will start to reach the Deity level in larger numbers as DGs create loads of accounted posts (actually could beat even the OTF easily), so maybe then it will be a good idea to change the rankings or make DG posts unaccountable like the OTF. Heh. I'm too busy designing pages and editing copy/photos when I'm at work to post on the Internet. It's kind of ironic in a way, since I spend at least an hour every night on the Internet at work, downloading photos, stories, professional IM'ing and stuff.
