Perhaps one you who are complaining about it, edit the smiley so it does have transparent corners and then email it to Dan or Markos.

You click on the button "check user profile" (symbolized by a small guy standing next to a file-paper) above one of your posts. The adress bar in the new window will end in "userid?XXXXXX". You're the XXXXXX

Actually, you don't have to click on the link. Just hover the mouse over the "check user profile" icon and the fully address will be displayed in the status bar. Unless, uh, the status bar is disabled (or shorter than it should be).
