To make you a mod they have to suck your blood. And then you have to suck their blood. It's like a whole big sucking thing. Mostly they're just gonna ban you.

Contribute a lot of meaningful stuff, make yourself stand out (in a good way) and don't ask for it. Then one day, far off in the future, if an opening were to open up, there's a miniscule chance you'd be considered.Comment

Most of em got to be mods by volunteering to do stuff and being helpful during the early days of the site.
