We all get the E-mails. By the time I read them, Ming's already ignored them, so I don't have to bother ignoring them too.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

rah: "Ming, have you seen these last 150 emails?"
Ming: "I just ignored them all".
rah: "Including the one from MarkG?"
      Ming: "Especially that one".
I watched you fall. I think I pushed.

I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

Actually Ming doesn't let them pile up like I do. So I usually do mass deletes.....unless it's from Mark or Dan.

            Nahhh... more like.

rah: "Ming, have you seen these last 150 emails since yesterday"
Ming: "I just deleted most of them... except I just banned the new registration from GoToHellRah"
rah: "But what about the one from MarkG"
Ming: "Read it already, and then deleted it"

With stunning irony it just took me 2 minutes or so to load this thread.

                Ming and Rah

I've been noticing the slow-down problem as well. Apolyton comes up as the #2 site when you search for "Rise of Nations" on Yahoo. Perhaps 'Poly is getting too big for it's britches.
To us, it is the BEAST.

We've gone through these slowdowns before. It will get better.

This is usualy the time someone brings up paid-membership-without-any-extra-previliges again..., not that I would do such a thing of course.

3rd link on Google (second site, since the first two links are pages on the microsoft site). We're even above the BigHugeGames homepage.

I remember when Counterglow was (utterly inexplicably) the number one site on Google for the search "CM4 demo" (meaning Championship Manager 4 Demo). What was much less hard to understand is why none of the hundreds of people who followed that link and saw the forums decided to stick around.
If I'm posting here then Counterglow must be down.

What's wrong with his location field? It seems OK for me.
