    BETA CONTEST RUNNING
(20 May 2003, 22:18 | Civ3) The time between its first public announcement [related story] and its beta testing program initiation is less than a week in length. Civilization III: Conquests, the second expansion pack to Civilization III in as many years, is ready to receive beta testers and developer Firaxis Games and publisher Atrai have teamed up with BreakAway Games to run a contest to fill these positions.

    ACK!
Don't try to confuse the issue with half-truths and gorilla dust!

Infogreed bought out Atari, and then officially changed their name to Atari. So the news is correct.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

Yup, Infogreed is now Atari. Which makes me *cringe* at the thought.

        Hi Tuberski.

Thanks for the heads-up on the typo -- it has been corrected. As you can see, there is a fair bit of news being published at present and I don't anticipate this presently elevated flow over "the norm" to diminish at any point in the near future.

That said, if in future you notice a typographical error please email the news author directly with all pertinent details. Given the nature of such points, generally speaking going about this route will ensure a more expedient and efficient response.
