FWIW, Stil is "dinner" in Gaelic (I think). Unless someone actually knows Gaelic and I'm embarassingly wrong.

It's kind of hard to learn a "dead" language.

Just to be perfectly clear, since I know the place: The Stil is a pub/restaurant. The restaurant is good, and is set off from the bar. There is alchohol, of course, but it is not just "a bar."

BTW, driving here if your parents didn't know, is easiest via the 83 (via the 695) and then exit at Greenspring drive, take 'east' greenspring drive, it's the second little street off to the right (there's a big Holiday Inn Select) sign. There's basically 2 minutes of driving off the highway at the most (plus whatever is on your end, of course )

Saturday is entirely at the Holiday Inn Select, excepting the dinner. 8am start time, 1:30am (sunday) end time for the competition sponsored by Firaxis, but held at the hotel.

The rooms the hotel events are held in, btw, are on the 'south' end of the hotel, rooms Chesepeake 3-6.

We actually take Seminary Ave.


"Martini Bar"? There's another last minute piece of info...

Now, my dad's been getting into it, too -

"How do they know who you are? ... a picture? ...so what if I showed them my picture? ... sounds like some very shady people... ...if you see anything shady, call us at once! ... we're going to sit and watch you go in! ...$75 seems too small of a rebate!". And, about the bar thing tomorrow, "What are you going to do for 2 hours? We're *NOT* going to drive you all the way home, then all the way back 2 hours later!".

Just a question (though I haven't read the whole thread). Has the Stil been informed yet of the large group of people? If it hasn't been done already, it might be a good idea to let them know of what's coming.
