During <b>ApolyCon '06</b> held in Timonium, Maryland this past <u>July</u>, three representatives from <i>Civilization IV</i> developer <b>Firaxis Games</b> participated in a multiplayer tournament for the game. The game's Lead Designer <a href="http://apolyton.net/go.php?http://www.firaxis.com/company/bios.php?bioid=30" target="_new">Soren Johnson</a>, fellow Designer/Programmer <a href="http://apolyton.net/go.php?http://www.firaxis.com/company/bios.php?bioid=85" target="_new">Jon "Trip" Schafer</a> and Software Engineer <a href="http://apolyton.net/go.php?http://www.firaxis.com/company/bios.php?bioid=80" target="_new">Alex "alexman" Mantzaris</a> went head-to-head with an on-looking crowd... and a camera documenting it all.
The seventh of a ten-part "Three Men and a Victory" serial is <a dref="http://convention.apolyton.net/videos/three_men-victory7.wmv" title="Click to Download (17.7MB)">now available for download</a>. Set to a selection of music from <i>CivIV</i>'s soundtrack, key pieces of conversation between the three and other guests and participants help to contextualize the in-game action as seen from each Firaxian's laptop screen on a rotating basis.
