'Lame' is a curious choice of words, Hen. It didn't occur by my design...when I gave the base to Morgan, you and he had a treaty. I was trying to force you to a choice between your commerce and recovering the forward base...Morgan declaring Vendetta was pure gravy!
It is odd, though, that in cases of a unit being turned over to another faction, that unit gains an extra turns' movement...or drop capablilty.
I wasn't trying to imply that your giving the base to Morgan was lame, but that the double moves for the drop police was lame. I lost 2 facilities and 2 pop points entirely due to a game bug... not that it will probably impact the final result of this game.
Best to be aware of that feature...it applies to all units, not just drop. Nasty surprises can be achieved when gifting units back and forth between human pactmates. Additionally, in case you didn't know, units gifted between pactmates have a delay in showing on the 'new' factions' F7 display. Combining the two effects allows for the achievement of strategic surprise in the late game, despite any infiltration that may be in effect.
