I am available tonite, say 7pm-ish est. Also, as far as high speed connections are concerned: whats the deal with that? Reason I am asking is that I can probably get another person to play, but he doesn't have DSL or a cable modem. Is there any valid reason to exclude him from a game because of this?

I am in the mountain time zone and don't get home till about 6pm local so that would be 8 EST at the earliest. . . but my preference is usually to try to get a weekend day where people can commit to a long session

Players have played with phone lines but it seems that it is often VERY slow. The first 10-20 turns are not so bad but then it can get frustrating and if the game goes long at all, a slower player can lead to very long delays.

i've got a cable modem and am available to play starting tonight and going into this weekend. SMAC/X. please let me know. i live in NYC, so consider my EST. i'm available starting around 7,8,or 9 tonight and going all weekend...we could actually finish a game!

Tonight is bad for me but I can play on Saturday or pretty much anytime next weekend. Keep me in the loop if those times are good . . .( I am trying to balance my gaming with a wife that works 12 hour shifts-- basically every second weekend I am totally available to play)

wow - I sound a lot like Flubber! My wife is a nurse who works 12 hour shifts every other weekend, only it sounds like the opposite weekends of what Flubber is stating!
Hope you guys got in some good games this weekend! I may be available next weekend if anyone still wants a game! If you give me an advance notice, I should be available!

actually, we didn't play...tho i did play some IP with Dren earlier...that was cool. haven't played a game with him for about two years! neat! in fact, i played my first IP game with him around that time!
