the " protocol"-- ??? I am not certain I now what you mean-- I emailed the turn and posted a question on here-- I will email him again but other than that I don't know what you mean by protocol

email him at all available addreses lettting him know when you sent the turn and resending him the file

Check when he last played on apolyton and if neccessary visit the thread for other games he is in and see what's up

give him another 48 after your resend and then post this thread suggesting an order of action


hehe that would be my protocol....but I am tired of doing it...did for at least the first 3 quarters of the time this game has been aroung...Which I believe is approximately One Year.

seems like a lot of steps . . . my practice has been

1. resend the turn
2. post a query on the game thread to see if anyone knows where they are
3. suggest getting a replacement once they are absent unexplained for more than 10 days

as for chasing people down, I understand your feelings . . . I am in something like a dozen games and have faced this issue a lot-- My solution has been not to join any more games unless I know the players are fast

I'm in one game that we started september 8 and as we speak I have just received 2114-- so thats 14 game turns for each player in 11 days

sits is definately around though he seems to have been slow in another game of mine, he also posted he had mail problems in that game. Keep trying I guess.

The turn has been sent to sits for the 3rd time and I PM'ed him as well . . . I see that he posted in another game as recently as the 12th but my send to him was on the 13th. So he has been MIA for just about a week. He was a pretty steady player up until this so i would tend to give him some time.

Hi, all. Sorry for the delays but I've been having problems with my ISP with some mails taking upto 10 days (if at all) to turn in my mailbox. This, you can imagine is making it hard for me to keep up at times. I did receive the turn several days ago and sent it to ColDark on the 19/9 but he is now on holiday.

I've contacted my ISP and they are investigating so please bear with me.
