This is what it means to be a Spartan. It's not the killing or the suffering that matters. It's the purity of focus, without fear of death or pain.

                    • The Klans' won 7 battles and lost only one this year.

                      What a refreshing change.

                      In other news...

We have been observing the whereabouts of the UoP probefoils (<- Yes, that's correct. There are more than 2).

They used to hide in the fungus, but are now right in the open.

                      Provost knowhow2:

                      - If you want to hit duMa, then head East and North.
                      - If you want to hit Mongoose, then head West and North.
                      - If you want to lose all the minerals that you invested in your probefoils, then stay next to my bases one more year.

I've been very patient with you. There are not many people who will stand having probes within striking distance of one of their bases for more than 2 years. Let alone for 5 years.

The Peacekeepers applaud the military successes of their Spartan allies! Stunning gains reported in the southeast of the Hive heartland! One wonders, though, if those gains can be held...can reinforcements be brought in time to stem the Hive riposte? Our own forces are stuck in place for the moment...Hive infantry is dug in in a rocky river valley along our line of advance, we have already taken heavy casuaties trying to dislodge them.

In other news, the latest Hive offensive on Gaian Ficus was broken by the timely arrival of Peacekeeping air suppport. Forward observers report the inexplicable presence of no fewer than 7 Hive missile penetrators patroling the southern shore of the freshwater sea. What madness is this? Stay tuned....
