I am making headway as I have not lost a unit for a couple of turns through carefully rotating them away but the AI is sending hordes-- . We're a lot of years ahead (2180 now) but I'll be curious to see how it works out for you both. Its good to play a tweaked AI that just isn't a patsy for whichever human finds them first.

Hey Flubber, you got it... I'm hanging in there. My bases haven't come under direct assault yet, but it's only a matter of time. I do have some room for expansion, and I'm filling it as fast as I can, but it's slow going. Probe teams are my only hope to catch up tech-wise... I think Roze having infiltration on everyone from the start is going to be the real kicker...

Having fun down there, mate? Remember, fundamentalism is your friend!

hey gents
Is this one of the "thunderdome" games ?-- I took on thunderdome I as a replacement for Deimos in the 2160s (Spartans). I must say that so far it seems a good challenge and hopefully one of these years I'll be able to do something other than trade blow for blow with hordes of AI LOL

" Send help !!"
Unfortunately the call went unanswered.

Valiant Hive Defense Forces continue to hold off 10 times their number at a strategic border crossing. Hordes of University artillery can't break the resolve of Chairman Yangs freedom fighters. But with inferior technology, how long can the Hive last?

Whatever turn it was, was turned! My only contact has been with the consciousness. Last turn they stole my synthmetal rover.
Edit: I have twice recived the following message & hence cannot send the turn:
