        MY 2104 to big_canuck

Sorry about the reload message. The game locked up when I loaded the turn.

I, too, would like to carry on.

              Turn to Qantaga.

I like the rather original base names I'm getting here. :-). Whoever put those in has a sense of humor,

Yikes! Two Unity Pods - two fungal blooms - two big fungal towers in the middle of the blooms. My starting territory is not quite so hospitable anymore.

                2105 sent to Deimos.

Q: Don't look at it as an unhospitable area; look at it as ec's waiting to be deposited into your account.

                    2105 to Mark13

                    ------------

                    Hmmm...

Email communication and probes for tech/map sharing sound like a bit of extra work, but something different, and interesting...

I don't really like the idea of reloading to get the right tech, though. I think we would just have to live with randomness.

                    Just my opinion.

Why reload? Take what you get, probe away what you want.

                        2106 to Deimos.

I do agree with big_canuk (and NS) that we should not allow reloads. The randomness could make for some intersting results with allowed probe actions.

For instance, how about EnvEcon for ..... a map ???

                          MY 2106 to big_canuck

I'm fine with disalowing the reloads. I hadn't thought about it before, but the random-ness of what you'll get from "allowed" probe actions does indeed sound intersting.

Just as long as I'm the one getting EnvEcon, you are getting the map.
