    Turn 2215 to ColDark

Very sorry for the delay but RL has been a bit busy for the last few weeks. I've been concentrating on getting the 'smaller' game turns out as I didn't have the time to devote for the longer ones. Hopefully things will be back on track now.

      hey folks

It appears we are in business

As a Canadian and in particular being from Newfoundland ( British colony until 1949) I hereby wish to defect to the British and offer my forces in the defense of the Queen and parliamentary democracy

Seriously though-- qantaga provided me with a prior turn to review and it looks like a very interesting game. The long truce seems like a pretty fun idea

      Let the games begin

Welcome aboard Flubber! I was just responding to your post before the edit - I prefered the first version!

I echo the welcome. Turn passed to Qantage (cos I am at work and I don't know flubber's email (oops)).

I will forward the mail to flubber when I get home but may I ask Qantaga to do that too, in case, during my home computer rebuild (a bit of a pain), I lost the address.

            Thanks gang

Its interesting getting into the mindset of the believers (whom I rarely play) and that of my predecessor. Its always different when you take over for someone since there are always playstyle differences.

2216 was received from Qantaga, played and sent on to Qantaga

My email for games is sharris4141@yahoo.com or sharris41@hotmail.com . I use the yahoo account more but check both regularly

                2217 sent to SITS.

With Flubber's arrival, I thought we might want to clarify the non-aggression agreement. I told Flubber that the agreement was to cease any hostilities until 2230. At that point, anything goes. Is that everyone else's understanding?

                    Turn 2217 to ColDark

I agree with ColDark, although there is no reason why we cannot extend it if all parties agree.

I notice some land is now endangered. Has someone got a Global Warming message? If so, can when did it start and how much will is rise by?

I did not get a warning, either. I just noticed that I had endangered squares for the first time this last turn. So, it must have just happened.

I got the message as well-- I believe it said 120m in 20 years but my recollection could be faulty

                          Believer News

There was a minor incident this morning when Nautilaus jets "buzzed" a Believer tour boat carrying 250 tourists on a sightseeing expedition. No less than 5 Nautilaus jets overflew the boat at heights estimated as less than 200 metres, rocking the boat with their jet wash. The Believer tourism commission has made a complaint to the Nautilaus aeronautic commission. There were no injuries.

                                2218 to Q

                                In the news today

Over 30 passengers on the Believer tour boat have been approached by a man from the long-lost Morganite clan. This individual claims to be a lawyer,a profession unknown in these Believer lands, and that he could obtain large money damages from the Nautilaus group in return for " a piece of the action". the High Ecclesiatic Chamber has issued an edict and any believers contacted by this man are instructed to inform their local priest or the nearest detachment of the HOLY GUARD immediately.
